is TAP the only airline with a degenerate acronym for a name?

Geeks have a predilection for what they call "recursive acronyms".  An example is GNU, which stands for "GNU's not Unix".  See how clever that is?

But recursive is a misnomer because recursion has a base case, or it wibbles forever, or is undefined or something.  These acronyms do not have a base case, so any attempt to expand them does not terminate, so they would be better known as degenerate acronyms.

TAP stands for TAP Air Portugal.
